Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for an experienced RN to join the PCICU team within Inova's L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital. This position is full time night shift 7:00pm-7:00am. Sign-on bonus and relocation bonus.
At Inova, the Pediatric Cardiac ICU serves the needs of critically ill infants, children, and adolescents who require specialized heart care. This specialized unit is staffed by highly skilled nurses and a team of intensivists from multiple subspecialties, including anesthesiology, pediatric cardiology, pediatric heart surgery, neonatology (newborn care), cardiac critical care, and pulmonology (lung care). The unit is expanding to include transplant and device management.

Pediatric Cardiac ICU RN Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of one year of RN clinical experience in a Pediatric Critical Care setting. 1 - 2 years of Pediatric Cardiac ICU, PICU or CVICU experience preferred.
- Must be available to orient during day shift.
- Education: BSN or ADN required. If RN has an ADN, must complete BSN within 5 years of state date.
- Certification: BLS (American Heart Association) required. PALS (American Heart Association) w/in 6 months of hire.
- Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others.
- Proficient computer skills required.
